Put-to-Light – Light-Guided Order Sorting and Consolidation System
Put-to-Light is a light-guided consolidation (sorting) system engineered for sorting batch-picked items on a per-customer or per-order basis. When the operator scans an item barcode, the corresponding order location illuminates with designated color and quantity information, ensuring the product is placed into the correct bin.
When the putaway action is confirmed by the operator or built-in sensor, the order status updates automatically. Completed orders trigger an automated notification to the packaging station, allowing consolidation and dispatch workflows to be managed within a unified digital stream.
- Fast Order Consolidation: Increases units sorted per hour by eliminating search and decision-making time.
- Control and Verification at Every Stage: Light guidance paired with barcode verification minimizes the risk of placing products into incorrect order slots.
- Cold Chain Compatibility: Engineered for operation in climate-controlled environments down to -4 °C.
- Bidirectional Integration: Real-time synchronization of order, bin, and confirmation status across MWS, WMS, and ERP platforms.
- Modular Architecture: Expandable station and slot capacity tailored to evolving order profiles and throughput volumes.
